Welcome to JR Benevolence Center
Peace Isn't Passive, It's Power.
Wisdom Is IN-bodied.

Meet Jill Reece

Jill Reece is a Chicago-based restorative and therapeutic yoga teacher holding space for burnout recovery, nervous system healing, and embodied return. Leading from the heart.
I’m Jill — a restorative and therapeutic yoga teacher in Chicago, a space holder, and a guide for those who are tired of over-functioning and ready to finally exhale.
For 25 years, I worked in surgical healthcare — steady in high-stakes rooms, caring for others, holding it all together.
And like many who live in service, I burned out more than once.
My healing didn’t begin with doing more.
It began with slowing down.
Through restorative yoga, nervous system healing, and energy work, I found my way back into my body.
Back into breath.
Back into myself.
Now, I offer restorative and therapeutic yoga in Chicago for those navigating burnout, chronic stress, and the quiet exhaustion of always being the strong one.
My work is slow. Intentional. Rooted in the nervous system.
Through supported postures, gentle Reiki-informed care, and embodied awareness, I create spaces where your body can soften and your system can remember safety.
This isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about remembering.
Remembering that peace isn’t passive — it’s power.
And the wisdom you’re seeking is already in your body.
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), currently completing my 300-hour advanced training (2026), a Master Reiki Practitioner, and a Master Certified Wellness Coach. With decades in healthcare, I bring grounded presence, trauma-aware sensitivity, and deep respect for the nervous system into every offering.
Let’s begin.
For those who are ready to create conditions for deeper self-awareness.
You will be guided to listen, perceive, and develop a relationship with your inner landscape.

“The rhythm of the body, the breath of the soul, and the strength of the heart — that’s where we begin.”
— Jill Reece

Awareness of the self is not found through effort or striving, but through intentional presence- cultivated in stillness, subtle movement, breath and deep listening.

What They’re Saying
I recently attended a yoga class with Jill and it was an incredibly rejuvenating experience. She is very articulate with her cueing and did a wonderful job of offering modifications for various skill levels. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and peaceful.

The class had a perfect balance between mindfulness and physical challenge. We worked on flexibility, strength, and breathing techniques, and I left feeling more centered and energized. I highly recommend taking a class with Jill for anyone looking to deepen their yoga practice or just unwind in a supportive environment!
